Privacy Policy

Kinfolia exists to hold your family's memories. That only works if you can trust us with them, so our privacy rules are simple and strict.

What we collect

Your account email and sign-in details; the content your family adds to its space (people, relationships, dates, places, stories, photos, voice notes, contact details); and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Payment card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor — they never touch our servers.

Who can see your family's data

Only approved members of your family's space. Each family space is private and invite-only: joining requires an invitation and approval by your family's admins. No family's data is ever visible to another family, used to train AI models, sold, or shared with advertisers. Contact details (phone, socials) are private by default and shared only person-to-person when you choose.

Where it lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) and email is delivered via Resend. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your data is yours

The owner of a family space can export the entire space at any time in a portable format. If a subscription lapses, the space becomes read-only — it is never deleted and members are never locked out of viewing. Full deletion happens only at the owner's explicit request, or after 12+ months of abandonment with email warnings first.

Removing yourself

You can leave a space, ask an admin to correct information about you, or ask us to delete your account entirely at any time.
